The name for the New York City based Joshi promotion now has a name and a promotional video. It appears to be a unique, Lucha Underground series featuring many Japanese wrestling stars.
There is undoubtedly an anime influenced style and presentation to the series, catering to a niche audience that is destined to be fun for wrestling fans hungering for more theatrics. As it turns out, the fledgling promotion is already seeing success.
Featuring talents from across Japan and even outside the country, the promotion’s first show debuts at World Premiere on September.
