IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi Set To Make AJPW Appearance, Will Face Rising HAYATO

NJPW superstar and IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi will be heading to an AJPW ring for the first time since 2012 as he will face top AJPW Jr Heavyweight Rising HAYATO.

The match is set for September 3rd at Aore Nagaoka. This will be the first time the two will have met since they were on opposite sides of a six man tag team match at NJPW/NOAH/AJPW All Together Again.

Hiromu Takahashi responded to tweet by Rising HAYATO regarding the upcoming match:

The IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship will not be on the line in this encounter.
