Samuray Del Sol Debuts, Mike Bailey vs Kushida, More Announced For 8/10 IMPACTonAXSTV Episode
Over the last few days, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce some matches for this week.
Moose/Brian Myers/Bully Ray vs. Laredo Kid/Samuray Del Sol/Black Taurus
Myers, Moose, & Bully Ray approached Lio Rush backstage. They said they’re glad he sided with them last week, and that they trust him. Bully even went as far as to say that Rush came come out to the ring with them next week when they battle in a 6 man tag, although they didn’t disclose who their opponents would be.
Mike Bailey vs Kushida
Mike Bailey and Kushida both took part in the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, which Kushida won. Last week, Bailey teamed with Jonathan Gresham to take on The Rascalz as part of the tag team tournament. The Rascalz won after Trey Miguel blasted Gresham in the face with some spray paint, once again cheating to win.
Kushida is set to team with Josh Alexander, Chris Sabin, & Alex Shelley to take on the team of Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers, & Lio Rush in an 8 man tag team match at the LIVE Emergence event on 8/27.
Dirty Dango (w/Alpha Bravo) vs Bhupinder Gujjar
Bhupinder Gujjar took offense to what Dango was saying, and felt disrespected. Says he’s dedicated his life to pro wrestling, and challenged Dango to a match.
ABC vs Sami Callihan & Rich Swann
Three weeks ago on the 7/20 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, Scott D’Amore kicked off the show and was interrupted by The Good Hands. As they went to attack Scott, Scott said he’s not going to fight them but had some guys waiting in the back who were ready to fight. Sami Callihan and Rich Swann made their way out. After a good back and forth match, Sami and Rich put it away with a great combination to Jason Hotch that sealed the victory.
Alisha Edwards vs Jody Threat
Backstage during the show this past week, Alisha Edwards is talking about how she ran Traci Brooks out of IMPACT Wrestling. Jody Threat walks up and says that Alisha isn’t worth Traci’s time. Alisha says that she doesn’t like how she’s being talked to. Alisha said she’ll run Jody out of the Knockout locker room as well, and Jody says she wants to see her try. Jody says that she’ll see her next week for a match.
