Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel. The match exceeded all expectations and became the best bout of the night.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Drew Gulak is the “unsung hero” of the Crown Jewel main event match.
“An unsung hero of the match was Drew Gulak. WWE sent Paul a ring to Puerto Rico to train with and sent Gulak to be his personal coach. He did come to the performance center and train some with Shawn Michaels, with them shooting footage of that and pushing that aspect, the bulk of the training was by Gulak.”

Drew Gulak was pivotal in training Logan Paul to put on an amazing performance against Roman Reigns. Given Logan’s performance at Crown Jewel, it remains to be seen if Gulak will be more involved in training Paul for future matches.
