Mia Yim is now a free agent.
It appears Mia Yim’s time with IMPACT Wrestling is now over. When she returned to the promotion, it was reported that the deal was short in nature. Now, Fightful Select have confirmed that Yim has left the promotion upon her contract expiring.
Fightful Select confirmed that Mia Yim did not extend her deal with IMPACT Wrestling and is now a free agent. Yim returned this past spring, and signed a short-term deal. We’d reported that her deal was set to expire this weekend, barring an extension.
Mia Yim put over Mickie James and Taylor Wilde on her way out of IMPACT, and we’re told that the door is open for a potential return on IMPACT’s side. Those that we spoke to said that her time there was positive and she worked well with the locker room.
Fightful Select
Mia has previously wrestled for WWE and NXT. It is not expected that Yim will return to the promotion but her time in IMPACT is over, for now at least.
