Logan Paul Talks His Pro Wrestling Training: “I Think WWE Is Harder Than Boxing”

Logan Paul believes pro wrestling is harder than boxing.

Logan Paul made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. He would return to the ring at SummerSlam to defeat The Miz. Since then, he’s gone on record stating how much effort he is putting into his training.

Paul said on his Impaulsive podcast with guest Roman Reigns that he’s trying to watch Roman, Stone Cold and other major names in WWE’s history to learn. He also remarked that wrestling is harder than boxing in his mind.

“I’m having trouble with it. It is hard,”

“I feel I’m trying to learn those things. I’m watching guys like you [Roman Reigns], I’m watching Brock (Lesnar), a lot of John Cena, Stone Cold, doing my research and trying to get as versed as I can in this industry, but it is hard. I don’t have the luxury of time on my side. I’m here. I watched a video of John Cena watching an old match of his and it’s really interesting now, in hindsight, that he has the knowledge that he has, to critique his performance. It was his first performance ever. He was just watching the crowd, he was barely watching the moves, the physicality. It’s all about the crowd. I just came to the realization, I think WWE is harder than boxing. It’s a mental torment to consider the crowd, the moves, everything all at once. It’s absurd.”
