Alex Pereira Finishes Sean Strickland in 1st Round with Stunning Knockout, Says He is Cheering for Adesanya
Former GLORY Light Heavyweight Kickboxing champion Alex Pereira might have gotten his ticket to challenge the Middleweight champion.
Pereira, the 34 year old Kickboxer turned MMA fighter took on Sean Strickland tonight at UFC 276 and defeated them in the first round by knockout.
Pereira in his post fight interview with Joe Rogan asked for everyone to join him in cheering for Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya who Pereira’s defeated twice in kickboxing and is in the main event defending vs. Jared Cannonier tonight at UFC 276.
No word yet from the UFC President on if Pereira vs. the champion after tonight is set in stone, however we will have an update for you on this situation following tonight’s PPV.
