We now know the kayfabe injury that Madcap Moss suffered on Smackdown.
On Friday Night Smackdown, WWE ran an angle where they attempted to ramp up the heat in the storyline involving Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin. In the segment, while Madcap Moss was doing an interview in ring with Kayla Braxton, Corbin would attack Moss from behind and drop the Andre The Giant Battle Royal trophy on Moss.
Following the attack, Moss was transported to a local medical facility and on Saturday WWE announced that Moss had suffered a cervical contusion during the attack.
As first reported on #TalkingSmack, @BaronCorbinWWE‘s attack has left @MadcapMoss with a cervical contusion.
