Jerry “The King” Lawler Signs A New Contract With WWE

It looks like Jerry Lawler will continue his career with WWE.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, “the word making the rounds” at WWE Raw is that Jerry Lawler has signed a new deal with WWE. The length of the contract was not reported.

Lawler’s deal reportedly would have expired at the end of the year.

Lawler has been with WWE for well over three decades and has been a mainstay on the commentary team up until April 2020 when he was replaced by Samoa Joe. It is unknown when he will return to WWE television.

While he has not done much with WWE in a while he has continued to stay active in wrestling recently facing the likes to Scott Steiner, nZo, and Big Cass at Independent events.
