In a recent media call, WWE CEO Vince McMahon and President of WWE nick Khan said that the company did not see AEW as competition. Well, it looks like now we will get our first chance to see exactly how they will stack up against each other.
AEW announced today that they are running a show on December 8th in the new UBS Arena in Long Island. CM Punk is front and center in the advertisement, so the Best In The World will be returning to Long Island. The ticket on-sale date for that event is September 10th.
This will be the same venue that WWE will be running a Monday Night RAW a week before on November 29. With this going on we will be able to see who can sell more tickets. This should be interesting.
