Andrade Reportedly In Talks With AEW

WWE released Andrade from his contract back on March 21st of this year. Upon his release, Andrade was free to appear for any promotion he wanted, as there was not a non-compete clause that prohibiting him from popping up on TV for another company.

Andrade’s first post-WWE appearance was for AAA, and he has since issued a challenge to Kenny Omega for his AAA Mega Championship at their annual TripleMania PPV event. But, that might not be the only time we see Andrade wrestling a member of the AEW roster.

According to a report in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Andrade is said to be in talks with All Elite Wrestling. The two parties are said to be in communication, but there is no word yet on where they stand with contract negotiations.

“There have been talks with Andrade but not sure where they stand.”

We will have to wait and see if Andrade pops up on AEW programming anytime soon. With AEW’s Double Or Nothing PPV taking place on May 30th, many have speculated that the event would be a good time or Andrade to potentially make his debut.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Andrade and where he might sign following his WWE release earlier this year.
