Smackdown Sees Drastic Drop In Viewership This Week

Smackdown continued the build to Elimination Chamber and also had the heavily advertised return of Seth Rollins to the blue brand. Ratings have been steady the last few weeks, but how did they do this week?

Showbuzz Daily reports Smackdown drew an overnight average of 1.8835 million viewers with a .5 in the 18-49 demographic.

This is a drop from last week’s show that had an overnight average of 2.126 views and a drop in their demographic share which was .6 last week. It’s a bit of a fall and their lowers number since the New Year’s Day episode that drew 1.915 million viewers. SmackDown had been on a bit of a climb, keeping around over 2 million viewers since the January 8th episode. We will have to see what happens next week as it will be the go home episode before Elimination Chamber, but falling numbers on the road to WrestleMania is never a good thing.
