Impact Sees Sharp Ratings Drop Despite Kenny Omega Appearance

Impact saw a major spike in ratings last week with the first appearance of Kenny Omega on their programming. Did a second appearance keep the spike or even take it higher?

Sadly, Impact had a sharp drop in ratings last night. After averaging 221,000 viewers last Tuesday, Showbuzz Daily revealed Impact’s overnight average for last night’s show at 177,000 viewers, drawing a .04 in the coverted 18-49 demographic.

Last week’s episode drew a .08 in the 18-49.

It’s a sharp decline that probably brought the numbers back down to earth after a big jump with the Omega interview, but the end of the show saw Omega get physical with World Champion Rich Swann, setting up a six-man tag team match for Impact’s Hard to Kill show where he and The Good Brothers will meet The Motor City Machineguns and Rich Swann.

As far as that trio goes, we already know Omega is scheduled for Dynamite tonight against Joey Janela, but Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows have teased appearing on tonight’s show.
