Fan Releases Bizarre Statement Taking Credit For Hacking WWE’s Facebook And Revealing AEW And WWE Information On Reddit
The internet wrestling community can be a strange place.
Let’s talk about this week on Twitter. An account popped up saying it had allegedly purchased some of the WCW trademarks from the WWE and would be beginning production in 2021.
Shortly after, the same owner said he would no longer be pursuing WCW, but working on an ECW revival, and both accounts were gone as quick as they were posted. It even attracted the attention of Rob Van Dam, who shot down that he had signed with this revival of ECW.
The story took a weird turn today when an account credited to Alexander “Fox” Coman revealed himself to be behind the accounts, issuing a strange rant where he has made some bizarre claims.
The post goes to say Coman never meant to deceive anyone, as he was creating the account to add a layer to his WWE 2k20 simulation for his WCW scenario. He claims to have started a Twitch account for this purpose, and then turned around to blame “dirt sheets” and “fans on Reddit” for the scenario growing as large as it did.
The statement becomes exceptionally strange when Coman then claims that he has hacked the WWE Facebook on several occasions, along with claiming responsibility for leaking WWE and AEW secrets onto Reddit while taking pride in his actions. He ended it by stating he had been in a state of depression after being left by his girlfriend for an independent wrestler, making him want to “destroy the indy wrestling to never be seen ever again.”
This was an exceptionally bizarre rant which had the internet wrestling community clearly respond in kind to the statement and actions by Coman. While it’s unknown how much of his statements beyond him controlling the ECW and WCW “revival” accounts are true, one would have to think this is the kind of scenario you’d only see in a strange year like 2020.
