In a match to crown a new number
one contender for the TNA X Division Title, it was revealed that ABC will take on Speedball Mountain in a tag team match.
The winning team then faces one another at a later date to determine who will get a shot at Mustafa Ali and his title – presumably at the next LIVE event, Against All Odds in Chicago, IL on June 14th.
Speedball Mountain partnered with “Broken” Matt Hardy to take on the current TNA Tag Team Champions, The System – Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha) and current world Champion, Moose – last Friday at the LIVE Under Siege event. While Speedball Mountain & Hardy fell short, they looked great in defeat.
Ace Austin also fell short in his quest for X Division gold when he was bested by Mustafa Ali after his security detail got involved in the match.
We will see Jonathan Gresham in action on Thursday as well.
Jonathan Gresham returned to action on Friday night at Under Siege with a new octopus mask that also somewhat resembled the Great Muta’s mask, with a black ink dye he spits into his opponents mouth.
Gresham took on and defeated Kushida, who was puking out black ink and had a hard time standing up by himself. Kushida had to be helped to the back.
After Alisha Edwards finally won her first TNA gold, and the rest of The System are champions as well, we will see The System throwing themselves a Title celebration.
Alisha teamed up with Masha Slamovich to defeat Decay in a match for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
The System defeated Speedball Mountain & Moose earlier in the broadcast.
-Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel of The Rascalz will take on the pairing of Jake Something & Deaner. Jake has come to Deaner’s rescue a few times lately, most notably last week when Hammerstone beat Deaner and then put him in the Torture Rack.
Wentz went to battle with Joe Hendry this past Friday night at Under Siege.
Hendry pulled off the victory.
Alan Angels returns to TNA iMPACT television with his riveting “Sound Check”’segment. Many fans feared it was the end of the line for the show after he had Ash By Elegance as a guest a few weeks back.
-AJ Francis & Rich Swann vs FBI
The Full Blooded Italians took on and defeated the Batiri as part of the Countdown To Under Siege pre show.
Zack Clayton is a New York native who had been hyping the show all week.
-Ash By Elegance will be interviewed coming off of her biggest victory since coming to TNA.
Coming off what is her bigger victory yet over a former Knockouts World Champion – Havok- as well as a post-match beatdown, Ash had some comments backstage.
