One of the things fans of All Elite Wrestling have anticipated since the company formed was their first video game. The chance to play as Hangman Page, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega in a more official way has been something fans have longed for, but AEW Executive Vice President has been careful to temper expectations for any sort of video game. He has repeatedly said that a quality video game would take time, and there wasn’t real news on that front in the immediate future.
The buzz picked up again when it was revealed AEW registered a trademark for AEW Games not long ago, and apparently it was a sign things were coming together quickly. Today, AEW RTed a message from an account with the same name hyping up an announcement on Tuesday, November 10th.
There’s no real way of knowing what this could be. It could be a mobile game or a console game, or it could just be the announcement of a studio to produce a variety of games on all platforms for AEW. Either way, next Tuesday’s announcement should be very interesting.
