Potential Spoiler For Matt Riddle’s Debut On This Week’s SmackDown

It had been reported earlier this week that Matt Riddle was seemingly on his way out of NXT and that he would be debuting on this week’s episode of SmackDown.

On last night’s episode of WWE NXT, Matt Riddle faced off against Timothy Thatcher in a cage match that was refereed by Kurt Angle. It appeared as though Riddle was written off of WWE NXT TV after losing the match, and now it looks as though we can expect to see the King of Bros as a part of the blue brand going forward.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Matt Riddle filmed a vignette the other day during WWE’s most recent set of TV tapings which will play on tomorrow night’s SmackDown. Meltzer of course noted that “plans could change” but that the idea was for the vignette to play of this week’s SmackDown.

We will have to see exactly what WWE has planned for Matt Riddle on the main roster, but luckily we don’t have to wait long since it appears as though we will see his debut tomorrow night.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Matt Riddle’s debut on this week’s SmackDown.
