Rusev has been absent from WWE television for a while. He has yet to sign a new contract and according to reports, that is why he was removed from television. He is scheduled to make an in-ring return at Saudi Arabia.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rusev’s inclusion in the gauntlet match at Saudi Arabia does not mean he has signed a new deal with WWE.
Rusev being announced for the show is not a sign that his contract issues are settled, but he still has plenty of time left on his current deal.
Rusev’s wife Lana recently signed a 5-year contract with WWE worth millions of dollars. On the other hand, it is unknown whether he will be signing a new contract. We will get to know what he does following Saudi Arabia.
