WWE’s Original Plan For Andrade & Mysterio And Where Program Is Heading Now

There is a saying that is often thrown around in the wrestling business, and that is “plans changed.” It seems like this is a frequent occurrence in WWE, and was the case for the original plans for the program with Andrade and Rey Mysterio.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE originally had plans in place for Andrade and Mysterio to compete in a hair vs. mask match back at WrestleMania 35 earlier this year. Obviously that match never happened, and it now looks like WWE has another program in place for the two as we once again saw them go head to head last night on RAW, this time in a two out of three falls match.

“It’s like they probably have a destination, but what are the odds that by the time they get there, they actually get there? It didn’t work last time.I mean, the last time they had a destination they didn’t get to it, I mean they got nowhere near it. It’s just like blew it off.”

“So the destination they had the last time was mask vs hair at WrestleMania which didn’t happen. The only thing I can say is that this destination is not that destination.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE continues to build the feud between Andrade and Rey Mysterio, but it looks like we saw the next step in their rehashed feud last night on RAW.
