PWX Legend Results And Live Report

Last night, Sunday July 7th, 2019 Premiere Wrestling Xperience (PWX) presented LEGEND from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I was in attendance for LEGEND, as I try and attend most of PWX’s events. I arrived at the Grady Cole Center early and spent some time speaking with those working the event, and scoped out the meet and greet as fans got a chance to take pictures with NJPW Stars Jushin Thunder Liger and Roppongi 3k.

PWX iTV Championship Match:
Saieve Al Sabah (C) def. “Built to Self-Destruct” Billy Brash (w/Ross Vegas)

– Ross Vegas is one of Joshua Cutshall’s multiple personalities. He attempted to get involved in the match at several points, where he appeared to be under the impression that it to be a tag team contest. As a result this distracted Brash ultimately costing him the match.

The crowd was hot for this one as we were treated to a women’s match between a couple PWX regulars.

– Lindsay Snow defeated Savannah Evans (with Tommy Thomas)

Fatal Four-Way #1 Contender’s Match:
– Brian Pillman, Jr. defeated “Classless” Mason Myles, Patrick Scott, and “The Revolutionary” Darius Lockhart

– Following the match, Darius Lockhart gave an emotional speech about his experience with PWX. Lockhart went on to say that “you never know when your time in the PWX ring is over”, and that Lucky Ali’s time is up at PWX Pure Fifteen. At Pure Fifteen Darius and Ali will meet in a cage match.

PWX Heavyweight Championship Match:
– Slim J (C) defeated Jason Cade (with Tommy Thomas)

– Intermission.
– Attendance: 646
– This was the largest gate and merch sales in company history.

The crowd was hot all night, and didn’t cool down coming back from intermission.

“Road to Opportunity” Open Invitational Battle Royal

– The Winner will receive a spot in the Opportunity Knocks Ladder Match at Land of Opportunity on August 24.

– “Tie-Dye Sunrise” James Johnson

– Powers

– Winner: Yahya

– Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh) defeated “Top Tier Talent” Drew Adler & “The Independent Variable” Tracer X

– Rocky Romero defeated Harlem “Globetrotter” Bravado

Main Event Six-Man Tag Team Match:
– Jushin “Thunder” Liger, “Fully Gimmicked” Ethan Case & “The Southern Savior” John Skyler defeated The Revolt (Caleb Konley, Zane Riley & “The Man Scout” Jake Manning)
