Why the Undertaker will be Wrestling at Saudi Arabia And Not WrestleMania

The Undertaker will not be wrestling at WrestleMania as it appears but he could be involved in some part.

The decision to not have Undertaker at Mania surprised many especially along with the fact that the Undertaker will be wrestling on the Saudi Arabia show in May.

Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Newsletter of Undertaker competing on the Saudi Arabia show and not at the “Grandest Stage of them All”.

The Undertaker has stated that this year he wants to work a “smarter schedule” and this is part of the plan apparently.

“He’s going to be wrestling in Saudi Arabia this year — he’s coming back. You know I guess that money was just too big to turn down and I get it. That’s why he’s doing everything that he’s doing and god bless him. He worked really, really hard for decades to build a name and to he kept his mystique which is pretty hard to do in this business.”

Undertaker worked as a full time talent at the time when superstars would have to work through their nagging injuries and didn’t get to be pulled off the road as they do now.

A WrestleMania without the Undertaker would be disappointing but the card will already be full of plenty of matches not including “The Deadman”.
