Earlier this week, news about Nova Pro Wrestling not paying their talent spread like wildfire across Twitter. Many wrestlers told their experiences, other’s were booked on future shows and others declined to comment on the matter at all. It was really messy and affected a lot of people.
The aftermath seems to be settling in and Nova Pro has made a statement regarding the matter.
Game Changer Wrestling has now taken over the Wrestlemania weekend spot i Jersey City.
Many people have reacted to the news. Some wrestlers looking for a new booking, as well as fans reminiscing on what Nova Pro meant to them.
This was so unfortunate on many levels. One thing is for sure, if you are going to run a wrestling promotion and book talent, be honest, have the agreed upon money and don’t let your personal life affect how you do business. Hopefully wrestling as whole will learn and move on.
