Name Change Coming For Top WWE RAW Superstar?

It’s been reported that WWE has recently filed paperwork for trademarks on the term “Colin Cassady”.

As you probably know “Colin Cassady” is the old moniker of WWE Superstar Big Cass which he used shortly in NXT before eventually the company dropped the name and went with calling him Big Cass. WWE filing for the trademark could be indication that the company is planning on dropping the Big Cass moniker upon his return from injury.

The reason WWE is looking to shake things up a bit with Cass upon his return and change his name is because the company wants to disassociate him from Enzo Amore. Repackaging his name would obviously be the first place to start since “Big Cass” is synonymous with the name Enzo Amore amongst the WWE Universe.

As has been previously reported Big Cass has been medically cleared to return to action following injury. It is believed that he should be returning to WWE storylines and Programming any time now.
