Eric Young has been released from TNA.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, TNA has come to terms on the release of Eric Young.

“TNA has come to terms on the release of Eric Young.”

 

Young made his return to TNA at the 2023 Slammiversary PPV. Eric Young wrestled on the TNA Slammiversary 2026 Pre-Show in a losing effort to Ricky Sosa, which would end up being his last match with the company as his three year run with the company ended today.

Eric Young is a former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, TNA X Division Champion, a three-time TNA Legends/Global/Television/King of the Mountain Champion, TNA World Beer Drinking Champion, a four-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, and a TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion (alongside ODB). In addition, a two-time NWA World Tag Team Champion (alongside Bobby Roode) during their partnership with TNA, a two-time winner of the TNA Turkey Bowl, a winner of the 2014 TNA World Cup of Wrestling (alongside Bully Ray, Gunner, Eddie Edwards, and ODB), King of the Mountain winner in 2016, 2022 TNA Gauntlet for the Gold winner.

Eric Young is also the Seventh Triple Crown Champion, and Fourth Grand Slam Champion in TNA History.
