For those who follow me on social media and my writing, you are very familiar with the fact I’m very critical with WWE. My criticisms towards WWE doesn’t come from a place of hate, but from a place of nostalgia and love. WWE was the promotion that introduced me to the wonderful world of Pro-Wrestling and when they deserve praise, I’ll be the first one to do it and today they deserve it.
Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair was an incredible match from these two wonderful wrestlers. This match is all you would ever want and they gave even more.
The build for this match was not the worst and at times it felt they were sabotaging this feud on purpose, but Belair and Banks work with what they had and delivered in more ways than one.
Bianca Belair
Tonight, WWE made a star and her name is Bianca Belair. This was the performance of a lifetime. Belair throughout the match looked impressive on every move she made.
Bianca is one of those wrestlers that takes time to develop and WWE did a good job to polish the diamond that is the EST of WWE, but now the the hardest part is yet to come, Bianca needs a great title reign and I’m sure she’ll have one. The challenge is there and Bianca will need to grab the bull by the horns and I’m sure she will.
If WWE plays their cards right, WWE has the star they’ve been looking for, she’s the total package. Only time will tell if WWE took advantage of this opportunity they have with Bianca.
Tonight there’s millions of little girls that saw her performance and they’ll be inspired to become wrestlers and all that is thanks to Bianca and Banks. This is pro-wrestling at it’s finest.
Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks is one of the best workers ever seen in American pro-wrestling history and that’s not debatable. Banks tonight was unbelievable and delivered without a doubt one of the best WrestleMania main event matches of all time.
For the longest time, Banks was undervalued by fans and WWE itself, but now, she’s appreciated by everyone and her haters are disappearing. Sasha Banks is already a HOF worthy wrestler.
The legacy of Sasha Banks will be of one of the best female wrestlers of all time and hey! she has plenty of time to catch Manami Toyota.
The Future
I have no doubts that Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks will be remembered as one the best WrestleMania matches of all time. Belair and Banks tonight made history is a lot of ways and that will help on the growth of pro-wrestling.
In 20 years, this match will be held in the pantheon as the many legendary matches that have taken place in the showcase of the immortals. This was a classic and it should be remembered as such.
