With all the recent talks in WWE about Superstars being considered “independent contractors“ this seemed very interesting coming from a current employee. What made it more interesting was how another current member of the roster answered
Paige has been a major player on Twitch and the timing of this tweet comes on heels of the report that Vince and company will be taking over 3rd party accounts .
Unionism is defined as “the policies and practices of labor unions, particularly those concerned with protecting and furthering the rights of workers”. Talks about unionizing has happened once before but never took off. No disrespect to both Paige and Zelina but it’s going to take some bigger names to join in the fight to ever gain traction. One would have to assume both Vega and Paige could be seen as expendable to Vince McMahon if either one tried to start up a movement to unionize.
