Clark Connors Believes Bullet Club Has Surpassed The NWO As The Biggest Faction In Professional Wrestling History

Clark Connors has a bold claim.

The group was first formed in 2013 and since then, the Bullet Club has surpassed expectations and been a huge influence on the world of professional wrestling. From leaders like Finn Balor to AJ Styles to Kenny Omega to Jay White, the group remains the same in their goal of being the biggest faction in wrestling history.

In a conversation with Hitting The Turnbuckle, this is what Bullet Club member Clark Connors had to say about the group in comparison to the NWO which was an influence on what Bullet Club is.

“Yeah, I mean, I think it’s eclipsed the NWO in terms of that, in terms of being the biggest faction of all time. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I wouldn’t necessarily say. Everyone knows the NWO was the best when it was a clusterfuck [laughs]. No, I think in terms of Bullet Club, it’s a cool idea that spans through all the major promotions in wrestling, which I find so unique. It’s never really been done before. But that being said, the real Bullet Club is the Japanese Bullet Club. It is the War Dogs, led by David Finlay, and that’s all there is to it. It’s a lineage that runs through there. There’s guys who obviously created the damn thing in companies, but they’re not there anymore. It’s ours, and we’re the only ones doing it correctly. The Bullet Club, the War Dogs in particular, is how the Bullet Club always has been and should be, a bunch of foreigners kicking ass, doing whatever the fuck they want, and that’s damn sure what we’re doing,” Connors said.

Following the departure of Jay White in New Japan, it was David Finlay who took over as the new leader of Bullet Club.
