Sting: Kenny Omega Is One Of The Best All-Around World Heavyweight Champions I’ve Ever Seen, He Is One Of The Best In The Wrestling Industry

Sting respects The Best Bout Machine.

As the Icon prepares to step into the ring one last time. Sting has been reflecting on past and present opponents he has stood toe to toe with. From giving praise to the current roster of All Elite Wrestling to wondering how he would do in a match against the best wrestlers from around the world.

In an interview with PWI. Sting gave a whole ton of praise to Kenny Omega, even mentioning how he would have loved to face off against Omega in a singles match if the two were able to.

“A lot of wrestling fans thought for sure that Darby was going to turn on me, or that I was going to turn on him! But you know, I would have loved to have had a match against Kenny Omega. Kenny is legitimate world champ material. Obviously, he’s been AEW World champion, but, to me, sometimes how good he is goes underappreciated because he’s never been with WWE; some people think he doesn’t deserve his accolades. But he is one of the best all-around world heavyweight champions I’ve ever seen, one of the best in the wrestling industry.”

Sting officially will call it a career as he teams up with Darby Allin to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships in a tornado tag match against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution.
