Katsuhiko Nakajima To Defend AJPW Triple Crown Title Against Yuma Anzai On March 30th
The current All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima officially knows who he will be making his fifth title defense against. AJPW announced today that Nakajima will be defending his title against young superstar Yuma Anzai.
On February 20th, Nakajima successfully defended his title by turning back the challenge of Jun Saito. Following the match, Anzai came to the ring and challenged Nakajima for the Triple Crown Championship. After a verbal confrontation between the two, which ended when Nakajima left the ring, Anzai promised the crowd at Korakuen Hall that he will win the Triple Crown back for AJPW.
This will be the second Triple Crown Title opportunity for Anzai. He unsuccessfully challenged then champion Yuji Nagata back in June 2023.
Anzai recently proclaimed that he is no longer the future of AJPW but is now the present. On March 30th he has a golden opportunity to prove it.
