Yuma Anzai Says He Is No Longer The Future Of AJPW, He Is The Now.

Yuma Anzai made his debut for All Japan Pro-Wrestling on September 18th 2022 after being heavily scouted out of college by AJPW superstar and board of directors member Suwama. Ever since he made his debut Anzai has been billed as the AJPW “super rookie” and “the future of AJPW”.

Yuma Anzai has steadily improved as a competitor in the world of professional wrestling and has grown in popularity amongst fans.

Heading into 2024, Anzai took to X to declare that he is no longer the future of AJPW but is the present.

I’m being called the future of All-Japan now, but that will end in 2023. I know that there are some people who have left the organization, and there are some dissatisfaction and anxiety about All-Japan. That is why I will change from the future of All-Japan to the present. I will become the now. I will do it here in the ring of All Japan, with bright, fun, and intense wrestling.

In Anzai’s latest match, he teamed with partner Ryuki Honda as they defeated the brother combination of Yuma & Atsuki Aoyagi on January 3rd at AJPW New Year Giant Series 2024.
