Brock Lesnar No Longer Available On SuperCard

Brock Lesnar is no longer a playable character on WWE Supercard.

According to WWE SuperCard News, Brock Lesnar has recently been pulled from the game. For those that have acquired any Brock Lesnar cards in the past, will still be able to use them, but you’ll no longer be able to obtain any new Lesnar cards moving forward.

PWInsider reports that Lesnar has been pulled from the well-known game, following the recent allegations this past weekend. Along with this, they also state that “we should expect to see Lesnar downplayed (if not outright removed as he was in the Supercard game) as much as possible going forward by 2K and potentially other licensees.”

On January 25th, a lawsuit was filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, and former executive, John John Laurinaitis. In it’s filings, it accuses the former of a multitude of things, including sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

In this same lawsuit, Lesnar was never specifically named. But in it, there’s a clear reference to a “world-famous athlete, and former UFC World Heavyweight Champion was actively trying to sign to a new contract.” The lawsuit indicates that McMahon was using Ms. Grant in a sexual manner to entice the individual to re-sign them with WWE.

Bodyslam will continue to provide updates on the situation as we learn more.
