Richard Holliday Makes Surprise Return At MLW One Shot, Joins WTF And Challenges Alex Kane For MLW World Title

The Most Marketable One has returned to Major League Wrestling.

Richard Holliday surprised everyone when he made his return to Major League Wrestling at MLW’s One Shot PPV on Thursday night December 7th, at the Melrose Ballroom. Following Alex Kane’s successful MLW World Title defense over Matt Cardona, Kane got on the mic and called out a challenger for the upcoming MLW Kings of Colosseum event. Suddenly, the lights went out and when they came back on Richard Holliday was standing in the ring confronting Alex Kane. It was then that MSL made his way to the ring, signing the match between the two for Kings of Colosseum, and then signed Richard Holliday to WTF.

You can see MLW’s tweets showing Richard Holliday’s return to the company below.

Richard Holliday last wrestled for Major League Wrestling back on the Thanksgiving 2022 episode of MLW Fusion. This was his last wrestling match before taking time away from the ring to battle cancer, after announcing that he would be undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which he completed in February of this year. Holliday officially became a free agent in April of 2023, and would wrestle his first match back after beating cancer for Paradise Alley Pro Wrestling in June.

Holliday was also one of the names reported as part of the most recent WWE tryout class back in September.
