John Cena On How He Sees WWE Career Ending

Billed as The Greatest Of All-Time these days, John Cena is currently in a run with the company that began this past summer due to the Hollywood writers strike. While it’s not clear when Cena will hang his boots up, he is approaching the end of his in-ring career and has put thought into how he will make his exit.

Cena appeared on WWE After The Bell this week and said he’s willing to go out on WWE’s terms.

“There are a lot of different perspectives. Anyone else sitting here would probably craft a scenario where, ‘Oh, in my mind, the perfect thing is to do this, at this event, with this individual.’ I just want to do what’s best for WWE,” Cena said when asked how he sees his career wrapping up.

He continued, “That has been my order of operations since I walked in this building. It hasn’t changed. It’s my way of thinking, but it’s done me pretty well. When I’m courageous enough to express to those making choices, ‘Hey, this is it,’ I do what they tell me to do because I believe full faith that they’re doing what is best for business. Whenever it comes to an end, and it will, whatever is deemed the best thing for WWE is exactly what will be the perfect moment.”

Cena will face Solo Sikoa this weekend at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. His last match came at WWE Fastlane on October 7th, where he teamed up with LA Knight to defeat Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.

Cena also praised a current WWE Superstar as the true G.O.A.T. of the industry. You can read those comments by clicking here.
