Kairi Sane is expected back in WWE this month, perhaps as soon as this weekend.
It was revealed back in August that Sane re-signed with WWE after officially leaving in December 2021 when her contract expired following a 4 year stint with the company. Sane finished up with STARDOM and still has not returned to WWE TV, but it was reported in August that her return was imminent.
It was then reported this week, by WrestleVotes, that Sane had been added back to WWE’s internal roster. However, PWInsider then posted a follow-up report, claiming that Sane had not been added to that same roster.
To update, PWI issued another follow-up a few hours later and said Sane actually was on the internal roster, confirming the WrestleVotes report. It was also said that officials have not decided if Sane will be on Raw or Smackdown.
Furthermore, PWInsider says Sane could be back as soon as this weekend for Crown Jewel, with Fightful adding that WWE sources have said they believe Sane will be in the United States to work for WWE this month. Fightful also reported the following today:
WWE wanted to make re-signing Sane a priority this year, and it was actually brought up last year as well during the mass re-signings. For whatever reason, that deal was not reached. There have been creative plans pitched for Kairi along the way and her return to the company hasn’t been kept a secret.
