Ric Flair wants to have a promo battle with one of AEW’s top young talent.
Ric Flair is All Elite, as announced earlier today as “The Nature Boy” was announced as signing a new deal with the promotion.
This comes a week after Flair made his first appearance for the promotion, where he was gifted to Sting by Tony Khan as part of his upcoming retirement tour.
While speaking to Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Flair discussed the role he hopes to have in AEW as well as naming a promo battle he would like to have.
“The one thing I want to do, I want to be a heel and have a conversation with MJF. A promo battle. Let’s see what you got kid. He’s spot on. I don’t think Tony [Tony Khan] has to worry about him leaving because he sounds like a very sincere and honest person. I think I’ve only met him one time. I look forward to that opportunity. He’s a very talented guy,”

Flair was absent from this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
We will have to wait and see how frequent his appearances will be under this new deal.
