We know some internal reactions to Tony Khan’s recent social media posting.
This week’s edition of WWE NXT was a huge event for the program and featured some of the top names in WWE, including legends such as Paul Heyman and John Cena.
Also featured on the show were some of the top stars of the WWE main roster, with Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Asuka and more making their way to the WWE Performance Centre in Florida. The Undertaker would also make an appearance on the show.
The show would go head to head with AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday in the ratings, with NXT coming out on top by a sizeable margin.
Tony Khan would take to social media today and many have criticised his line of posting.
Fightful Select have now provided some insight into the internal reaction in AEW to Tony’s tweets.
Some reactions to Tony Khan’s tweet We’re told by several people within AEW they were surprised that Tony Khan’s tweet about Undertaker/John Cena drawing less than a million viewers ended up going out. From what we understand, Khan doesn’t clear his tweets with AEW PR for those asking. Another source said that those who took issue with it should take a glance at the replies that Tony Khan, Triple H, or any top wrestling executives on any given day. Of those that we spoke to, there wasn’t any real concern or issues with it, and most of the reaction reflected that of social media — either thinking he shouldn’t have tweeted it at all, or thinking it was him having fun with a situation that didn’t favor him. Another pointed out that right after the tweet, he announced a series of matches for next week’s Dynamite while people were on his profile.

We will have to wait and see if Tony will continue to string these social media posts together and how the reaction will change in All Elite Wrestling.
This week’s NXT was a huge event, and was viewed as such internally as the show was named NXTMania.
