Exclusive: Last Night’s WWE NXT Was Referred To As “NXTMania” Internally

Last night’s edition of WWE NXT was a huge event for the program and featured some of the top names in WWE, including legends such as Paul Heyman and John Cena.

Also featured on the show were some of the top stars of the WWE main roster, with Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Asuka and more making their way to the WWE Performance Centre in Florida.

The show would be a big hit in the ratings, as the show pulled in over 920,000 viewers to AEW Dynamite’s 609,000.

As we exclusively reported earlier this evening, the show was constantly changing, with the internal reaction to the show being positive.

Now, Bodyslam.net’s sources in NXT have confirmed that as with every other NXT show, last night’s show had an internal name that was even written on rundown sheets for the show. The name according to multiple sources was “NXTMania.”

With the supershow nature of last night’s episode of NXT, it is no surprise that the brand was motivated to put on such a big show, especially with WWE promoting it as “The Greatest NXT Of All Time.”

We will have to wait and see if NXT will continue to keep this momentum going in the coming weeks.
