Darby Allin Says His TNT Title Match With Christian Cage Will Main Event AEW WrestleDream

Darby Allin says he will be main eventing AEW WrestleDream with Christian.

This Sunday at the PPV, Darby is scheduled to return to his hometown of Seattle, where he will take on TNT Champion Christian Cage in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Now, it looks like that match will close the show on Sunday evening.

During the AEW Countdown to WrestleDream, Darby Allin made it clear how much competing in the main event meant to him.

“You haven’t seen shit until you wrestle Darby in Seattle. At WrestleDream, in the main event, you are fighting someone that you’ve never seen before,”

This will mark the first time the TNT Championship will main event an AEW PPV.

This is an interesting development, as many fans know, Edge’s WWE deal is up today and all reports suggest he is on his way to All Elite Wrestling.

We will have to wait and see if Allin can manage to claw the TNT Championship out of Christian’s hands this Sunday at WrestleDream.
