WWE have been stockpiling tapings of NXT Level Up in recent weeks.
NXT Level Up serves as the first chance at television for many who graduate the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. While several may make their debuts in NXT on the live event circuit, it can also be said that Level Up serves that role for some debutants.
NXT and Level Up both tape at the Performance Centre itself, with Level Up being taped prior to a live airing of NXT television. The tapings can be lengthy for the crowd on hand, but it seems now WWE have been taping even more matches ahead of a double header taping of NXT next month.
While speaking to sources within NXT, Bodyslam.net have been told that WWE has been stockpiling matches for NXT Level Up ahead of a double header of NXT tapings in October.
“We’ve been advance taping episodes of Level Up for a few weeks due to a double NXT show in October. (Stockpiling matches to air the next week or two, then the night of the 2 NXTs, we have two weeks worth in the can)”
Several NXT talent, including Lola Vice have found their footing in WWE on NXT Level Up, and it is an important part of the WWE developmental process.
