On the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe would interrupt an impassioned promo from the World Champion MJF in a heated, hilarious, and compelling back-and-forth that saw the veteran bully the younger talent, using more than brute force to instill a plethora of emotions, most notably repeating the question: “What’s the problem, kid?”
This would get under the skin of Maxwell Jacob Friedman, but Joe didn’t stop there – he assaulted the title holder after he clearly said he would wait for the Eliminator Tournament. After the show, Samoa Joe tweeted the following:
