Last week after the 8/31 IMPACTonAXSTV broadcast, IMPACT took to their social media Twitter account to announce matches for the 9/7 broadcast.
PCO & Josh Alexander vs Bully Ray & Maclin.
Ahead of their respective matches at Victory Road where Josh takes on Maclin and Bully battles PCO, we get a tag bout this week.
We get a backstage segment with PCO and Bully where PCO screams that Bully tried to kill him, but Bully made it personal and says he was trying to kill the monster, not Carl, the man.
We also saw Maclin talk about finally getting his hands on Alexander in the ring.
Maclin returned from injury at Emergence and attacking Josh but being pulled away due to not being part of the match.
Subculture Vs Rich Swann & Sami Callihan
Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) approached Santino backstage during last weeks IMPACTonAXSTV broadcast to ask about their contractual IMPACT Tag Team Title rematch. Santino says he’s already got the champs booked to defend their titles at Victory Road, at which time Rich Swann and Sami Callihan walk up and so Santino books their tag match since they came ready to work.
Subculture lost their IMPACT Tag Team Titles to The Rascalz at Emergence back on 8/27.
Swann and Callihan came up just short in the tag team tournament for a shot at the titles a few weeks ago.
Deonna Purrazzo vs Dani Luna
Deonna Purrazzo challenged the returning Jordynne Grace for a match at Victory Road.
Grace’s last much with IMPACT was a loss to Deonna Purrazzo in her quest to recapture the IMPACT Knockouts World Title at the LIVE Under Siege event back in May.
Dani Luna’s most recent IMPACT match came on the 7/27 IMPACTonAXSTV episode where she teamed with Trinity to take on and defeat the former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The Coven.
Lio Rush vs Kevin Knight
Lio Rush is the current IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion.
Kevin Knight was last on IMPACT tv when he took on Moose on the 8/17 broadcast. Knight put on a great match, but came up short in the end.
JOYA (Joe Hendry & Yuya Uemura) vs ???
JOYA defeated The Good Hands at the Emergence Countdown show, and last week when they came looking for a Tag Team title shot, Santino told them they’d need to work their way up.
IMPACT Knockouts World Title contract signing between Trinity and Alisha Edwards
Alisha Edwards won a 10-Knockout Battle Royal last week after hiding underneath the ring until there were only two competitors left and then she saw her opportunity to win the match, which she utilized to flip Jody Threat and KiLynn King out of the ring and pick up the victory.
Alisha had something to say about Trinity after her victory.
Trinity successfully defended her IMPACT Knockouts World Title at Emergence when she submitted Deonna Purrazzo for the second time in a row.
