Keiji Muto (Great Muta) Comments On The Passing Of Terry Funk

August 23rd was a very sad day in the world of professional wrestling as one of the all time greats Terry Funk passed away at the age of 79.

Kejiji Muto aka The Great Muta teamed with Terry Funk back in 1989 as they were part of the Gary Hart International heel stable. Muta and Funk engaged in a legendary feud with Ric Flair and Sting for a good part of 1989.

Muto took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to remember his former partner Terry Funk and posted these comments and picture of the two:

Terry Funk has passed away. Around 1989, as a tag partner of Great Muta in WCW, I have many fond memories of driving around the United States together and being invited to the Amarillo house. I pray for his soul sincerely.

One thing is for certain, there will never, ever be another Terry Funk.
