McIntyre and Gunther battled for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.
In a long awaited matchup, Gunther and Drew McIntyre went to war at the Premium Live Event.
As expected, the match was hard hitting, with the two men landing some incredibly stiff shots early on. While the match was not lengthy, the story was a clear one of Gunther adjusting during the matchup.
After missing a splash early on, Gunther would hang Drew up on the top rope before landing it after attempting it again. He would then follow this up with a lariat and a powerbomb in order to put the Scottish Warrior away for the three count.
