WATCH: Stephen Fulton Walks Out To ‘Nakamura’ By Lil Uzi Vert In Japan To Defend Titles Against Naoya Inoue

On July 25, Stephen Fulton journeyed to Japan for his match against Naoya Inoue, but unfortunately, he faced some difficulties.

As Fulton stepped into the ring to face Inoue at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, he walked out to the sound of “Nakamura” by Lil Uzi Vert. This was Fulton’s debut bout outside of the United States.

Unfortunately for Fulton, things didn’t go his way as he was knocked out in the 8th round and as a result of his victory, Inoue won the WBC and WBO super bantamweight titles.

In June, Lil Uzi Vert included “Nakamura” in his “The Pink Tape” album. The song features a sample from Nakamura’s “The Rising Sun” theme song.
