Ashley Vox’s Shoulder Injury And An Update From Delmi Exo, Ashley Vox’s Sister And Sea Stars Teammate
Delmi Exo updates us on Ashley Vox.
Ashley Vox hasn’t been seen in a wrestling ring since June 2022, when she returned for a one-time match against Anthony Greene. She hadn’t wrestled full-time since December 2021 because of a shoulder issue.
Delmi Exo, Ashley’s sister and Sea Stars partner spoke on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl to discuss Vox.
“Right now, Ashley is currently out with an injury. It’s kind of a stubborn injury. It’s her shoulder. Shoulders are one of those body parts that are frustrating and tricky. Originally, it was supposed to heal on its own. Come to find out, it wasn’t healing correctly, so she had to go in for surgery. Now she’s back in PT and trying to get it to heal back to 100%. Not sure on an ETA on when her in-ring return would be, but possibly next year,”
Delmi Exo Via In The Weeds
When asked if they would reunite if Ashley returned, Delmi replied, “We’re like the Hardys.” We’ll have the option of tagging or doing singles. “That’s my girl.”
Exo will compete at MLW Never Say Never on July 8th, defending her MLW Women’s Featherweight Title against Ava Everett, who will also defend her wXw World Women’s Championship in the match.
