Kenny Omega was surprised to come away unharmed after his V-Trigger spot in his steel cage match with Jon Moxley.
The pair battled in a brutal cage match on Dynamite last month, breaking through the cage wall with a V-Trigger spot. Unfortunately, the cage wall did not completely tear away, leading to Omega being caught in the chain link by his knee.
While speaking to Muscle & Fitness, Kenny Omega admitted that he was ‘bewildered’ that he was able to walk away from the match with no injury after the spot.
I’m still bewildered over how it was that I walked away from that one. I just let it happen and I think, somehow, because nothing was going against the grain, or fighting against this odd happening, I miraculously ended up OK.

Omega would go on to lose the match after Don Callis entered the ring and stabbed Kenny with a screwdriver, handing the victory to Jon Moxley.
It was announced earlier today that Kenny Omega will go one on one with Will Ospreay at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
