Gunther has his eye on Logan Paul.
Gunther has been Intercontinental Champion for an incredible length of time, defeating all challengers with his ferocious offense toppling the strongest man. Meanwhile, Logan Paul has been crossing over from being a social media megastar, competing in showcase matches that never cease to pop fans.
While speaking on My Love Letter to Wrestling with Mark Andrews, Gunther was asked about potential challengers, which included even the Paul brothers. Gunther would mention that he feels like he should humble Logan.
“Actually, in the Rumble, there was one moment where I was like, ‘When that guy comes in, I gotta jump him.’ But I didn’t know what would go down that whole time. So when he comes to the ring, does whatever, he stands there still for five seconds, it was like, ‘He’s not gonna do anything,’ so I just walked over.
[When told he should humble Logan Paul] Right? Come on.”

We will have to wait and see if down the road Gunther and Logan Paul face off in the squared circle.
