Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account announce a new match taking place this week on the IMPACTonAXSTV episode.
IMPACT X Division Champion, Trey Miguel, will team with both of his opponents from Rebellion – Jonathan Gresham & former X Division Champion, “Speedball” Mike Bailey – to take on the team of Time Machine – Kushida & the Motor City Machine Guns – in a 6 Man Tag Team Match.
The Motor City Machine Guns attempted to become 4x IMPACT Tag Team Champions when they challenged current champs – Ace Austin & Chris Bey – for a shot at their IMPACT Tag Team Titles in an Ultimate X Match at Rebellion this past Sunday. The Guns, however, fell short and failed to capture the titles.
Time Machine member Kushida battled Steve Maclin for the vacant IMPACT World Title in the co-Main Event of the night. After a hard-fought battle and many near victories for both competitors, Kushida fell short as Maclin defeated him and won the World Title.
All 3 men could use a victory coming out of their losses at Rebellion, and it should be interesting to see how Trey, Gresham, and Bailey mesh as a team.
