Alleged Group of Legends Who Stood By While Gisele Shaw Was Verbally Assaulted With Transphobic Remarks By Rick Steiner REVEALED
Following up on a story that Bodyslam covered on Saturday, April 1st about IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Gisele Shaw being verbally assaulted with transphobic remarks by Rick Steiner, and a group of Legends who stood by and watched it happen, here’s part of what Gisele said about the incident:
Bodyslam has a source – who was at WrestleCon and nearby when this incident happened, but wishes to remain anonymous – that revealed to us that the Legends who stood by and said NOTHING to diffuse the situation are as follows:
—WWE Hall of Famer, Ted DiBiase Sr
—AEW producer/coach Dean Malenko
—AEW producer/personality Arn Anderson
—WWE Hall of Famer, Scott Steiner
All of whom were within arms length distance from Rick Steiner during the incident, and
—AEW star Matt Hardy
—Lex Luger
— WWE Hall of Famer, Ron Simmons
All only a few steps away from the incident; allegedly close enough to see and hear the confrontation.
All of these names have been reached out to for comment or their side of the story. So far, none of them have responded.
Bodyslam will update this story if we hear back from any of them.
This is certainly disappointing that anybody feels this is acceptable behavior, and maybe even moreso that people who could’ve made a difference in the situation didn’t do anything.
This is all ALLEGED at this point until it can be confirmed.
