Bobby Fish Believes AEW Failed To Capitalize On The Undisputed Elite’s Popularity

Bobby Fish appeared to have had a promising career in AEW for a while. The company even hinted at a conflict between him, Kyle O’Reilly, and Adam Cole vs. The Elite before he left.

The former WWE superstar’s contract with the organization was set to expire in 2022, but he decided not to renew it. This gave Bobby Fish the opportunity to sign with Impact Wrestling and begin a career in combat sports.

Bobby Fish recently discussed his reasons for departing AEW in an interview with the Going Broadway Podcast. He revealed that he and management were unable to agree on a new contract.

“I would say [the departure] was amicable. We just didn’t see the same numbers”

“If you don’t maximize the opportunity with us, I’m gonna feel that there was some money left on the table. So yeah, I think there could have been more done.”

Despite that, Bobby Fish acknowledged that the timing was regrettable, particularly in light of the wounds sustained by his stablemates. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Bobby Fish.
